Organic law on education

In the second class of this subject we started to talk about something really important that we showed the last year as well: the law of education. Is our main tool to do our job properly, in there we have our rules as a teachers, we can find in there how we have to work, what we have to learn etc. So it´s very significant to know the law, to understand it in order to be a greater teacher.

In class we talked about some interesting things that are related to the organic law of education. For example, Is it suitable for a child to repeat or to do the same course because he or she hasn´t passed his or her exams? In my opinion I think it depends: obviously we are going to find kids that have a very strong personality, that have a very strong mind and maybe they don´t mind to repeat a course because they are not afraid of it and maybe this experience, to do the same course is good for them, because they can really learn, understand the things that they couldn´t in the past because they are more mature or they find it easier than the other year. Nevertheless, there are kids that this situation, to repeat a course, may produce in them a lot of suffering, shamed or sadness.
So, what´s the right option? What´s the better choice, to repeat or to not repeat?

We talked also about a new subject that is going to appear in schools sooner, a subject that is focus on equality, tolerance and diversity. Nowadays we can find lots of violence, hate, intolerance not only in adults, the worst part is that our children are more and more racist, violent because of all the things that they see at the social network, at TV and because of their family too, their opinions. 
The most important thing about this subject is that is COMPULSORY. Because you can think, we already have a subject that work that no? It´s called "education in values", but the problem is that this subject is optional, not everyone has to study it, or see it at school. 
In my opinion I have to say that I am really happy and proud that at last the government, the teachers, the people in general think and believe that this is completely NECESSARY, SIGNIFICANT, that the most important thing in our lives are our values, our feelings, how we deal with them, how we treat each other, to think that we can make the world a better place, that we can change it.

Today I want to give my general opinion about the course, I want to summarize all the things that I have learnt and my feelings about all the tools and contents that we have seen. In all the pages of this diary I´ve tried to give always my opinion about everything, to explain how I feel when I am doing the activities or when I am discovering a new tool that I could use in the future with my children. Today I am going to show you some different activities that we had made during the course with very useful resources. Nowadays to use the ICT is something essential. We haven to encourage this kind of learning process, we have to innovate, to be different, to be better for our children. This chapter is about speaking, as well as the last one. In this we are going to se some tips in order to teach how to speak without fear, without that pressure that you have sometimes because you are thinking if you are doing it well or not.
